Contact Guard — $99
Built for contact sports: rugby, hockey, lacrosse, basketball, and BJJ. Custom-moulded from your dental impression for a fit that does not shift during play. BPA-free, latex-free, medical-grade EVA, multi-layer pressure-laminated.
Combat Guard — $169
Heavier construction with extra layers and greater thickness, engineered for strike-heavy combat sports: MMA, boxing, Muay Thai, kickboxing. Same dental-impression fit as Contact Guard with a protection profile built for repeated direct-to-face impact.
Why custom-fit vs boil-and-bite?
A $15 boil-and-bite mouthguard uses generic heat-moulding against your teeth and tends to shift during hard rounds. A custom-fit guard moulded from a dental impression — like GumGear — stays in place, distributes impact more evenly, and allows easier breathing and speaking. GumGear costs $99–$169 versus $250–$600 for a dentist-made guard, with the same impression-based precision.
