What is the difference between Contact Guard and Combat Guard?

Both are custom-moulded from your dental impression, but built to different protection levels. Contact Guard ($99) is designed for contact sports — rugby, hockey, lacrosse, basketball, and BJJ. Combat Guard ($169) uses heavier construction with more layers and greater thickness, designed for strike-heavy combat sports like MMA, boxing, Muay Thai, and kickboxing.

Do I need to go to a dentist to take an impression?

Use the 3D customiser on the product page. Pick base colours, add custom text (name, gym, slogan), upload your own artwork, or choose from our design library.

How long will a mouthguard last?

With normal use: 6–12 months for contact sports, 3–9 months for heavy combat use. Replace when you see visible wear, chips, or loss of shape.

Rinse with cool water after every use. Brush with a soft toothbrush and mild soap weekly. Store in the provided case. Avoid hot water — it can distort the fit. Don't leave it in a hot car. Avoid alcohol-based mouthwash, which can degrade the material over time.
